Surf life-saving club for the City of Wanneroo in partnership with Lycopodium Infrastructure. Stage one works include all ground floor and external construction and temporary roofing structure. Comprehensive facilities include change rooms, club room, first aid and patrol office and extensive equipment store with vehicle access.
Noticeably of concrete construction, the walls consist of REKLI formed concrete tilt-panel with internal concrete blockwork. A concrete suspended slab was designed and constructed in preparation of the stage 2 works. Beachfront retaining walls and multi-level walkway were engineered taking into account long term predictions of soil sediment movement and included CFA concrete piles into limestone bedrock.
